1.) How long have you been working at Joseph Tree?

I have worked for Joseph Tree for 5 years and I have spent 8 years in the tree care industry.

2.) How did you end up in the tree care industry and what is your favorite part about it?

Landscaping wasn’t offering the careers that I was interested in. Tree work kept me outside and active with career options.

3.) Favorite thing to do while at Joseph Tree?

Technical climbs, prunings, or removals. Crane work can also be a lot of fun. There is always a variety of things to do and that’s the best part of tree work.

4.) What’s your favorite thing to do while not at work?

More tree work! Trying to make/balance hobbies with time for friends and family.

5.) Favorite movie?

Lots of good ones; The Watchmen or anything Pixar-related has made.

6.) Favorite vacation spot?

Jamaica was fun. I’m looking forward to going on a cruise again sometime.

7.) Any random facts about you that you could share?

I came out of high school with the intent of being a Welding Engineer, and now I’m proud to be an arborist. I believe my career as a tree worker is more fulfilling and engaging than any other career I could have had.
